Terms of use
Last updated: 5 November 2026
These terms apply when you use the PalopGO app or website. PalopGO is a trading name of Bridge Digital Solution LTD, company number 17320165, 35a Balaam Street, London E13 8EB, United Kingdom. Contact: bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com.
The short version. PalopGO is a marketplace: the store, host, organiser or person you deal with is responsible for what they offer. Be 18 or over, keep your sign-in code to yourself, be honest and respectful, and never use PalopGO for anything illegal. We can suspend accounts that break these rules. Our responsibility to you has limits, explained in sections 37 to 39, but nothing in these terms takes away the rights consumer law gives you.
These terms have five parts:
- Part A (sections 1 to 7) applies to everyone.
- Part B (sections 8 to 16) adds the rules of each PalopGO service. It applies when you use that service.
- Part C (sections 17 to 27) sets the rules everyone must follow, how we moderate, and how we keep PalopGO safe.
- Part D (sections 28 to 36) applies if you sell, deliver, carry, host, organise, guide or provide any service through PalopGO, as a business or as an individual.
- Part E (sections 37 to 47) explains responsibility, disputes, the law that applies and other legal points.
Our privacy policy (/privacy) and our cancellation and refund policy (/refunds) are part of these terms.
Part A: For everyone
1. Who we are
PalopGO is operated by Bridge Digital Solution LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17320165), at 35a Balaam Street, London E13 8EB, United Kingdom. In these terms "PalopGO", "we", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means the person using PalopGO.
You can reach us at bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com. That address is also our single point of contact for authorities, for reports of illegal content and for security reports (section 26).
2. What PalopGO is, and our role
PalopGO is a marketplace. Independent stores (restaurants, grocers, shops, beauty and other service providers, event organisers) list their products and services, and you order from them through PalopGO. Deliveries are made by couriers who work through PalopGO, or you collect from the store. The store is responsible for what it sells: its quality, its description and its ingredients or allergens.
- Your contract for the goods or the service is with the provider (the store, host, organiser, guide, carrier or other person who offers it), not with PalopGO, unless a listing clearly says PalopGO itself is the seller. PalopGO provides the platform that connects you.
- Payment. Providers appoint PalopGO as their limited agent to accept payment from you. When you pay through PalopGO (card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe), you have paid the provider for that order, booking or ticket.
- Who you are dealing with. Each listing shows who the provider is. Stores, organisers and other businesses on PalopGO act as traders. In the person-to-person services (Já que vais, Boleia, Casa da Terra, Conterrâneos, Padrinhos and Sócios da Terra) the other person is usually a private individual, not a trader, and the consumer rights you have against a trader, such as the right to cancel some purchases (section 6), do not usually apply to what you agree with them.
- What PalopGO does not do. PalopGO does not make, cook, own, store, inspect or sell the goods, and does not perform the services, of the providers on it. We check some things about providers (section 12 explains the Selo de Confiança), but we do not guarantee any provider, product or service.
- We are not a bank. PalopGO is not a bank, an electronic money institution, a payment institution, a money transmitter, a currency exchange, an investment firm, a credit provider or an insurer. Money that PalopGO holds while an order, a request or a stay is completed is held in PalopGO's account with Stripe, earns no interest and is not a deposit.
- Not an emergency service. PalopGO is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call the emergency number first (112 in the United Kingdom and the European Union, 911 in the United States and Canada, 000 in Australia).
3. Your account and keeping it safe
You need to be 18 or over. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and codes to yourself: you are responsible for orders placed from your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the PalopGO website.
- Give true, current information, and keep it up to date.
- One person, one personal account. Do not sell, rent, lend, share or transfer your account. If you use PalopGO for a business, you confirm you are allowed to act for that business.
- PalopGO will never ask you for your sign-in code, by phone, message or email. Anyone who asks for it is trying to take over your account.
- Tell us at once at bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com if you think someone else has used your account. We may sign your account out everywhere, ask you to prove who you are, or pause it while we check.
- We may ask you to verify your phone, your age or your identity (through our provider, Stripe), before you use some features or when we have a reason to check. We may refuse or close an account that we cannot verify.
4. Placing an order and paying
- Prices, delivery fees, service fees and any small-order fee are shown before you confirm. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- Card payments: when you place the order, the amount is reserved on your card. You are only charged when the store accepts the order. If the store declines or does not answer in time, the reservation is released and you are not charged.
- Cash on delivery is available where the app offers it, up to the limit shown in the app.
- Each order has a code. Give it to the courier on delivery, or to the store when you collect: it confirms the order reached you.
- The total you pay is shown before you confirm, with every compulsory fee included. Optional extras, such as a tip, are always your choice.
- Mistakes in price or description. If a price or a description is obviously wrong (for example a price far below the real one because of a typing error), the provider may cancel the order and you get back everything you paid.
- Availability. A provider may decline an order, for example when an item is out of stock or it cannot deliver to you. You are not charged for an order the provider declines.
- Currency. You pay in the currency of the market you order in. Your bank may charge its own fees or exchange rates; those are between you and your bank.
- Promotions and codes have the conditions shown with them, are one per person unless they say otherwise, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn from an account that abuses them (for example with several accounts).
- Chargebacks. If something is wrong, report it in the app first (section 7). Disputing with your bank a payment for an order you received as described, instead of reporting a problem, may lead us to close the account. This does not affect your legal rights with your bank.
5. Age-restricted items
Some stores sell alcohol or age-restricted event tickets. They are sold only to people aged 18 or over, and the courier or the venue will check your ID. If you cannot show valid ID, those items will not be handed over.
- In the United Kingdom, couriers and venues follow Challenge 25: if you look under 25 you will be asked for a photo ID. Other markets follow their local rules and ages, where those are stricter.
- Alcohol is not handed over to anyone who appears drunk, or to anyone buying it for a person under the legal age, which is a criminal offence in many countries.
- Never order age-restricted items for someone under the legal age, or ask a courier to leave them unattended.
6. Cancellations, refunds and your right to cancel
See our cancellation and refund policy on the PalopGO website (/refunds). In short: cancelling is free until the store accepts your order; after that, the items may be charged.
Your legal right to cancel. When you buy goods online from a trader, the law in the United Kingdom and the European Union usually gives you 14 days to change your mind. That right does not apply to:
- food, drink and other goods that go off quickly;
- goods made or personalised to your order;
- sealed goods for health or hygiene reasons that were unsealed after delivery;
- event tickets, catering, transport and accommodation booked for a specific date or period;
- a service fully performed within the 14 days, once you asked for it to start and agreed you would lose the right to cancel when it is done.
Where the right applies, tell the provider or us within 14 days of receiving the goods, return them within 14 days of telling us, and you will be refunded within 14 days. Other countries have their own rules, and you keep them (sections 43 to 45).
7. Problems with an order
If something is missing, wrong or damaged, report it in the app within 72 hours of delivery and we will look into it. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
We may ask for photos or other information, and we may decide a refund, a partial refund or no refund depending on what we find. Reports that are false or made to obtain refunds dishonestly are a breach of these terms and can lead to the account being closed. Your legal rights against the provider are not affected (section 37).
Part B: PalopGO's services
8. Event tickets
- The organiser is responsible for the event: that it takes place as described, that it is safe and lawful, its age limit, its access arrangements and its staff. PalopGO sells tickets as the organiser's agent.
- Tickets are paid in the app, never in cash. Each ticket has a code that the door checks once: keep it to yourself, because the first person to show it gets in.
- If the organiser cancels the event, every ticket is cancelled and refunded in full to the way you paid. If the event changes date or venue, contact us in the app to ask for a refund.
- Other refunds and transfers to another person are handled by our team in the app, where the event's rules allow them.
- Do not buy tickets with automated tools, buy more than the limit per order, or resell tickets in breach of the organiser's rules or the law. We may cancel tickets bought in breach of this section, refunding the price.
- Venues may refuse entry under their own conditions of entry (for example ID checks, security searches or behaviour). That is the organiser's decision, not PalopGO's.
9. Já que vais: carrying something on your way
What it is. Já que vais lets someone who is already making a trip (on foot, by bicycle or scooter, by public transport, taxi, car, van or lorry) bring a small item from a shop on their way to another PalopGO user nearby. (Until 24 October 2026 this service was called Boleia; Boleia is now the name of the ride service in section 9A.)
If you ask for an item (the requester):
- You see the price before you pay: the most the item may cost, the most you pay for the carry, and PalopGO's fee if there is one.
- Card markets: the whole amount is taken from your card and held by PalopGO until you confirm the item arrived. You pay the carry for the trip that takes it, never more than the most you set, and the receipt's cost, never more than your budget. Everything not used goes back to your card.
- Cash markets: you pay the person at the door, in cash: the receipt's cost plus the carry, as shown in the app.
- PalopGO's fee is paid by you, never by the person carrying, and never by the shop. It has two parts: on the carry, 10 % of the reward with a minimum (0,40 € in Lisbon) and a maximum (1,50 €), and on what is bought, 3,5 % of the receipt. When your item is carried on foot, by bicycle or scooter, or by public transport there is no commission on the carry: only the minimum, which is what the card payment costs. There is no fee at all on requests posted before 23 March 2027 (the launch). The app shows the fee before you pay, and your card is charged only at the handover, for what the request really cost; the rest of the amount reserved is released.
- Give your 4-digit code only when the item is in your hands. If you do not report a problem within the time shown in the app after the handover (2 hours unless the app says otherwise), the request is confirmed and the money is released.
- Some things are never carried: alcohol and tobacco, medicines, weapons, drugs, cash or bank cards, live animals, anything sealed by a stranger, gas, fuel and other hazardous goods, and counterfeits.
If you carry (the deliverer):
- You take part as an independent person, not as an employee or courier of PalopGO. You choose your trips and the requests you take, and you travel by your own means, at your own cost and risk.
- Travel safely and lawfully. Keep to the rules of the road and never use your phone while driving or cycling: the app holds offers until you stop. If you drive for work (for example a van or a lorry), carry Já que vais items only where your employer and your insurance allow it.
- You need a verified identity (checked by Stripe) or an active PalopGO courier account.
- When you buy an item, you pay the shop and photograph the receipt. You get back the receipt's cost, up to the requester's budget, together with your reward: in card markets PalopGO pays you what you are owed, in cash markets the requester pays you at the door.
- You never pay PalopGO anything to carry. What you earn may be taxable income; declaring it where the law requires is your responsibility.
For both of you:
- Meet at the door or in a public place, never inside someone's home. If you ever feel unsafe, use "Preciso de ajuda" (I need help) in the app: the PalopGO team is alerted at once. In an emergency, call the emergency number first (112 in the United Kingdom and the European Union).
- You can block someone so that you are never matched with them again.
- If something goes wrong (the wrong item, damaged, not received, nobody at the door), report it in the app. In card markets the money stays held until PalopGO decides; PalopGO may refund the requester, release the money to the deliverer, or split it.
- PalopGO makes the match, holds the money in card markets and keeps the records and photos. It does not carry items itself. Nothing in this section limits your rights under consumer law.
9A. Boleia: a lift from someone already going
What it is. Boleia lets someone who is already driving somewhere (by car, van or motorbike) take a passenger from a pickup to a drop-off on their way, for a share of the cost of the journey. Where PalopGO holds the operator licence the law requires and says so in the app, Boleia já also offers rides on demand from approved drivers at a fixed fare said before you get in.
If you ask for a ride (the passenger):
- You see the price before you ask. For a shared lift it is a share of the driver's cost per seat, never above the cap set for your city; for a ride on demand it is a fixed fare that is never raised. PalopGO's fee, if there is one, is shown on a line of its own beside the fare, and it is paid by you, never by the driver. On a ride paid by card it is never less than what the card payment costs PalopGO, rounded up like your city's prices; when that cost sets it, the app calls it "Taxa PalopGO (custo do cartão)" (PalopGO's fee, the card cost). On requests posted before the launch date shown in the app there is no booking fee: a ride paid by card pays only that card cost, and a ride paid in cash pays no fee.
- Card markets: your card is authorised for the fare and the fee when you ask, and charged only when you get into the car. If the ride does not happen, nothing is charged. Cash markets: you pay the driver at the drop-off, in cash: the fare and, where the app shows one, PalopGO's fee.
- Before you accept a driver you see who they are: their first name and photo, the vehicle, its colour and its plate, and what other passengers said of them. Check the plate before you get in. Give your 4-digit code only once you are in the car.
- When a driver takes your ride, the app may propose a meeting point: an open PalopGO store a short walk from you, on the driver's way, so you meet in a public, lit place instead of at your door. Accept it or keep your pickup; you can also choose a store as your pickup when you ask.
- In the last 300 metres (once you have accepted the driver and the car is that close, or at the pickup), the driver who is about to pick you up sees where you are, so they find you without calling. Never before that, never anyone else, and it stops when you are in the car; you can turn it off at any time.
- You can share a link with someone you trust: they see the driver's first name, the car, the plate and where it is, until two hours after the ride ends. If the car moves away from your destination or stops unexpectedly, the app asks whether you are well; if you do not answer within two minutes, the PalopGO team is alerted.
- You may cancel without charge until you are picked up. If you are not at the pickup within the waiting time shown in the app after the driver arrives, the driver may report a no-show and leave; nothing is charged.
- If something goes wrong on the ride, report it in the app within the time shown after the drop-off (30 minutes unless the app says otherwise). In card markets the money stays held until PalopGO decides; PalopGO may refund you, release the fare to the driver, or split it.
If you drive (the driver):
- You take part as an independent person, not as an employee or a driver for PalopGO. You choose your trips and the passengers you take. For a shared lift you recover a share of your costs and no more: it is not a taxi service. You may not drive on demand unless the PalopGO team has approved you for it, which needs the licence and the insurance the law requires for carrying passengers for reward in your city.
- You need a verified identity (checked by Stripe), a valid driving licence and insurance that covers the passengers you carry; you confirm both in the app and photograph them, and you keep them valid. On a motorbike you carry a helmet for your passenger. Drive safely and lawfully; the app holds offers until you stop.
- You never pay PalopGO anything out of your own pocket to drive: PalopGO's fee, when there is one, is paid by the passenger. In a city where rides are paid in cash and the app shows PalopGO's fee, the passenger hands you that fee with the fare, and the same amount is then taken from your Saldo PalopGO, a prepaid balance you top up in the app (it pays only what you owe PalopGO). If your Saldo does not cover a fee you owe PalopGO the difference, and while you owe more than the limit the app shows for your city you cannot take new rides until you top up. What you earn may be taxable income; declaring it where the law requires is your responsibility. Your vehicle, its insurance and its fitness are yours.
For both of you:
- Both of you have a verified identity. You see each other's first name and standing before anyone commits; the driver sees the exact pickup only once they take the ride. If you ever feel unsafe, use "Preciso de ajuda" (I need help) in the app: the PalopGO team is alerted at once. In an emergency, call the emergency number first (112 in the United Kingdom and the European Union).
- You can block someone so that you are never matched with them again, in Boleia and in Já que vais alike.
- PalopGO makes the match, holds the money in card markets and keeps the records. It does not provide transport itself and is not party to the carriage. Nothing in this section limits your rights under consumer law.
10. Conterrâneos: people from your land
What it is. If you choose to, you tell PalopGO which island, province, region or district you come from. PalopGO then shows you, on a globe, where people from your land live around the world, and can introduce you to people from your land in your city.
- Being counted is your choice. Nobody is counted until they switch "Contar-me no mapa" on. What is shown is only numbers, never names, and only when at least 5 people share the same land and city; below that the app says "fewer than 5".
- Meeting is a second, separate choice, for people of 18 or over only. PalopGO proposes you to one person of your land in your city who also asked; each of you sees only the other's first name, land and the short introduction they wrote. A conversation opens only when both of you say yes. Nobody can browse or search for people.
- Be honest and respectful. Do not pretend to be someone else, ask for money, sell anything, or ask for or share contact details to move someone off PalopGO. Messages are screened for contact details, requests for money and other signs of scams or danger, and PalopGO may close a conversation, remove a profile or suspend an account that breaks these rules.
- Your safety comes first. Meet for the first time in a public place and tell someone you trust where you are going. You can end a conversation or block someone at any time; a blocked person is never proposed to you again. If you ever feel unsafe, use "Pedir ajuda" (ask for help) in the conversation: the PalopGO team is alerted at once and the other person is not told. In an emergency, call the emergency number first (112 in the United Kingdom and the European Union).
- You can leave at any time with "Esquecer a minha terra": your land, your consents and your place in the numbers are deleted at once and your open conversations close.
- PalopGO makes the introduction and keeps the conversation safe; it does not check who people are beyond their PalopGO account, and it is not responsible for what people do when they meet.
11. Casa da Terra: staying in people's homes
What it is. People with a verified identity can offer their home (a whole house, a flat or a room) for stays, and people with a verified identity can stay in them, at home in the PALOP countries and abroad.
If you host:
- You take part as an independent person, not as an employee or agent of PalopGO. You are responsible for your home: that it is yours to let (or that the owner agreed), that it is safe, clean and as described, that it is insured for guests, and that you follow the law where it stands, including any local registration (in Portugal the Alojamento Local number, shown on your listing), limits on the nights a home may be let (in London, 90 nights a year for a whole home) and the tax on what you earn.
- Your home goes live once its checks pass: your identity, photos taken in the app at the home, and location readings taken inside it. PalopGO may take a listing down at any time if it seems false, unsafe or unlawful.
- You set the price, the rules and a cancellation policy (flexível, moderada or rígida). If you cancel a confirmed stay, the guest gets everything back and PalopGO may limit your listings.
- In card markets PalopGO keeps a host fee (3 % unless the app shows another) from the nights and cleaning it pays you, during the launch too: the app shows it when you set your price and on each stay, before and after you are paid. There is none in markets paid at check-in.
If you stay:
- You see the full price before you book: the nights, the cleaning and PalopGO's guest fee if there is one (none during the launch, to 22 December 2026, and none in markets paid at check-in).
- Card markets: you pay the whole stay when you book; PalopGO holds the money and pays the host 24 hours after your check-in. If the home is not as described, you cannot get in, or it is not safe, report it in the app within those 24 hours and the money stays held while PalopGO decides (a refund, a payment to the host, or a split).
- Markets paid at check-in: you pay the host directly when you arrive, as shown in the app.
- Cancelling: the listing's policy decides what comes back (flexível: everything up to 24 hours before check-in; moderada: up to 5 days before; rígida: half up to 7 days before, nothing after). The guest fee comes back only with a full refund.
- The exact address and how to get in are shown from 48 hours before check-in. Give your 4-digit code to the host only when you receive the keys.
Long stays. A host may give a discount for 7 nights or more and another for 28 nights or more (never both on one stay). The discount is shown as its own line before you book, and the stay keeps the price you were charged.
Booking for someone else ("Oferecer uma estadia"). You may book a stay for another person, named with their phone number. You pay, you are the guest the host accepts, and you are responsible for the stay: you cancel it, report a problem and review it, under these terms. The person you name sees the stay when they sign in with that number, with the code, the address and the way in from 48 hours before check-in, never the price; they may write to the host and use "Pedir ajuda". Tell them you gave us their number. In markets paid at check-in, the stay is paid to the host when they arrive.
A Pessoa na Terra. A host who lives far away may name one person per home to welcome guests, hand over the keys and look after the house. That person is chosen by the host and takes part as an independent person, not as an employee or agent of PalopGO; they accept or decline in the app. They may see the guests' first names, the dates and the address, type the guest's code at the door, write in the stay's conversation and ask for help; accepting, declining or cancelling a stay, prices and settings stay the host's. The share of each stay the host agrees with them (at most half of the host's part) comes out of the host's part only: the guest pays nothing more. In card markets PalopGO pays that share to the person when the stay's money is released; in markets paid at check-in, host and person settle it between them.
Guardião da Casa. A host with a Pessoa na Terra may have them visit the empty house every 7, 14 or 30 days: a checklist, a note, any problems and photos taken in the app at the house, sent to the host at once. What the host pays the person for each visit is agreed and settled between them; PalopGO only keeps the count. PalopGO charges the host a monthly price per home for the service (shown before it is turned on; free while the market's launch is free), to the card the host saved in the app, in the home's currency. Each charge is shown as its own line and notified with its amount and the card's last four digits. Turning it off stops the next charge; the month already paid runs to its end and is not refunded. A month the bank refuses pauses the service until the host turns it on again. PalopGO does not inspect the house itself and is not responsible for what a visit finds or misses.
Linked calendars. A host may link the calendars of other sites (Airbnb, Booking.com) so their nights are unavailable here, and copy this home's own private calendar link into those sites. The private link shows only that nights are taken, never who stays; a new link can be made at any time and the old one stops. Keeping the calendars right is the host's responsibility.
For both of you: respect each other and the home; never ask for or make payments outside PalopGO in card markets; reviews are published only when both of you wrote one (or 14 days after the stay); you can block someone so you never stay with them again; if you ever feel unsafe, use "Pedir ajuda" in the stay: the PalopGO team is alerted at once and the other person is not told. In an emergency, call the emergency number first (112 in the United Kingdom and the European Union). PalopGO makes the introduction, holds the money in card markets and keeps the records; it does not own, manage or inspect the homes. Nothing in this section limits your rights under consumer law.
12. Selo de Confiança: trust you can see
What it is. Every person who takes part in person-to-person services (Já que vais, Boleia, Conterrâneos, Casa da Terra) and every store has a seal: Novo, Conhecido, Verificado or De Confiança. It is made of what was proven (a real name, a photo taken in the app at the moment, a verified identity; for a store also its photo, its profile, photos of its place taken there, its owner's verified identity and its licence where the law requires one) and of what was done (completed orders, deliveries and stays, time, a store's rating).
- You never have to show your face. Your photo can be anything that represents you; your identity is verified by our provider, and PalopGO never sees the document or the selfie.
- What is missing costs reach, never trust you earned. After 7 days, a store missing proof appears lower within its own distance (never further than its own kilometre), down to half its reach; De Confiança, once earned, stays while the record holds. A store is asked every 180 days for a new photo of its place.
- Reminders. We remind you of what is missing on days 1, 3 and 7, then monthly, never at night. You can turn them off.
- Photos must be your own. A photo that is a copy of someone else's does not count and is reviewed by our team.
- The community confirms. Couriers and Já que vais deliverers who stood in a store may say whether it is as in its photos. Nobody is paid to answer.
- Reports. You can report a store, or the person of a stay, a match or a request you shared. Reports count more from people with a good record; false reports lower your own. The person reported is never told who reported. Our team decides; nothing is sanctioned automatically. A report upheld drops the seal to Novo for 180 days.
13. Festa Gémea: one night at home and abroad
What it is. A festival at home (in Angola, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique or São Tomé e Príncipe) can have twins abroad: parties in other cities on the same nights, each sold through PalopGO's event tickets, each giving a part of every ticket to the festival at home.
If you organise the festival at home: your business must be an events business with a Verificado Selo de Confiança. You say what the money sent home pays for, and you use it for that. You may remove a twin with a reason.
If you organise a twin: you choose one of your own events on the festival's nights and pledge a part of every ticket's price (from 5 % to 50 %). That part comes out of what PalopGO pays you for each ticket. Once a ticket is sold, your pledge can rise but never fall. If your event is cancelled, the parts of its tickets come back to you with the refunds. If you leave, or the home organiser removes you, the parts of the tickets already sold stay owed to the festival at home.
The money sent home: PalopGO keeps it apart in its records, in each twin's currency, and sends it to the home organiser by bank transfer once two of its owners approve the transfer. Each festa shows publicly how many tickets each city sold and how much was pledged and sent.
If you buy a twin's ticket: the festa page shows the part of your ticket that goes home. Refunds follow the event ticket rules.
Greetings: if you hold a ticket, you can send a short greeting to the festa's big screen. It shows your first name and your city. A greeting cannot carry a phone number, a link or a handle. The organisers and PalopGO can hide any greeting, and abusive greetings can lead to your account being suspended.
14. Padrinhos: nobody arrives alone
What it is. Someone who has just arrived in a city (an afilhado) can be introduced to someone of the same land who has lived there for years (a padrinho or madrinha), to walk the first 90 days together: the first steps of that city (the tax number, health care, a bank account, the transport pass, a phone number, their country's consulate).
Who can take part: both people need a verified identity (Selo de Confiança Verificado). An afilhado arrived in the city in the last 12 months. A padrinho has lived there for 2 years or more and has had a PalopGO account for 30 days. You say these things yourself; saying something false can lead to your account being suspended.
How it works: PalopGO proposes; nobody browses people. You see the other person's first name, land, languages and time in the city. A journey begins only when both say yes, and either of you can end it or block the other at any time.
What a padrinho never does: a padrinho never asks for money outside PalopGO (a paid errand, below, is agreed only in the app, for the amount the app shows), never asks for a document or a passport, never keeps anyone's papers, and never offers work or a place to live in exchange for anything. If that happens, use "Pedir ajuda": the PalopGO team is alerted at once and the other person is not told. In an emergency, call the emergency number first (112 in the United Kingdom and the European Union).
Paid errands (in the cities where PalopGO switches them on): meeting, talking and the journey itself never cost anything. When an afilhado wants their padrinho to go with them to an office for one step, they ask in the app; the padrinho offers an amount inside that city's band and a day, and the afilhado sees the amount, and any card fee, before accepting.
- By card: the amount is reserved when the afilhado accepts, charged when the padrinho marks that they went, and paid to the padrinho when the afilhado confirms or 48 hours later. Cancelling before that charges nothing. If something went wrong, "Pedir ajuda" stops the payment and PalopGO decides: the money goes to the padrinho, back to the card (the fee too), or is split.
- In cities where errands are paid in hand: the afilhado pays the padrinho the amount shown in the app, after the errand. PalopGO holds nothing.
- The padrinho keeps the whole amount and never pays PalopGO anything. PalopGO may charge the afilhado the card's own cost and, after the launch, a small percentage, always shown before accepting. A journey has a limited number of paid errands, shown in the app.
- A padrinho takes part as an independent person, not as an employee or agent of PalopGO. What a padrinho earns may be taxable income; declaring it where the law requires is their responsibility.
What PalopGO does and does not do: PalopGO makes the introduction and keeps the records. It does not employ, check on or vouch for padrinhos beyond their verified identity. The steps are general guidance, not legal advice. Nobody pays or is paid for a journey itself: the only money is a paid errand, as above.
15. Sócios da Terra: business partners
What it is. People with a verified identity say what they bring to a business (skills, the intention to invest, a place such as a kitchen or a shop, the customers and suppliers they know) and what they look for. PalopGO suggests people who complete each other and says why. Nobody browses profiles, and a conversation opens only when both are interested.
Proof, shown as it is: each thing you say you bring is shown with its proof:
- PalopGO's record: what our own records show, such as a store with its place proven or stays hosted;
- a reviewed document: a certificate or licence our team reviewed (its photographs are deleted once reviewed);
- vouched: another member who has spoken with you put their reputation on it;
- declared: said, not shown.
Money is never a claim: "I have savings" is shown as an intention only. Do not say what is not true. A claim we find false is struck, can lead to your account being suspended, and costs the members who vouched for it the right to vouch for a year.
Never send money outside PalopGO to someone you met here, and never pay a "fee" to join a business. Promises of guaranteed returns, a percentage a month, crypto, secrecy or urgency are the marks of fraud: the app warns you when a message carries them, and such messages are reviewed by our team. Use "Pedir ajuda" if you feel pressured: the PalopGO team is alerted and the other person is not told.
Meeting and agreeing: meet in a public place first. You can write down what you agree (who brings what, the split, the milestones) and both confirm it. It is not a contract: get legal advice before you sign one or move money.
Capital held (not yet available): when PalopGO turns it on, a partner will be able to commit money paid by card, held by PalopGO and released to the other partner one milestone at a time, when the partner who paid confirms each one; PalopGO takes no fee on it, decides disputes over money held, and does not give investment advice or guarantee any business. PalopGO makes introductions and keeps the records; it is not a party to your business.
16. Showcase listings, savings circles and information services
- Showcase listings. Some kinds of business are only shown on PalopGO, with a profile and a way to contact them: for example cleaners, movers, tourist guides, farmers and producers, home cooks, freight forwarders and licensed currency exchange bureaus. Nothing is sold, paid or delivered through PalopGO for these listings. Any agreement you make is between you and the business, and PalopGO is not a party to it.
- Licensed businesses. Where a listing shows a licence as verified, PalopGO saw the licence when it was added. That is not a guarantee that the business is still licensed or that it will perform. Check before you hand over goods, money or documents.
- Money. PalopGO does not exchange currency, send money abroad or hold money for these businesses. PalopGO does not allow people to exchange cash with each other through the app.
- Savings circles (kixikila, xitique, abota). PalopGO only keeps the circle's record: its members, their turns and their confirmations. PalopGO never holds, collects or pays out the circle's money, does not check that members pay, and does not guarantee any payout. Members pay each other directly and at their own risk.
- Information services. Information about embassies, consulates, public services, first steps in a new city, transport and journey times is given in good faith for general guidance. It is not legal, immigration, tax, medical or financial advice, and it may be out of date: check with the official source. PalopGO is not part of, and does not speak for, any government. Where an embassy or consulate offers its own services on PalopGO, that institution is responsible for them.
Part C: Rules for everyone
17. What you must not do
Do not misuse the service: no false orders, abuse of stores or couriers, attempts to get around payment, or interference with the app. We can suspend an account that does. In particular, you must not:
- break the law, or use PalopGO to help anyone else break it;
- give false information, pretend to be someone else, or open accounts to get around a suspension, a limit or a promotion's conditions;
- harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, discriminate against or exploit anyone, including stores, couriers, hosts, guests and our team;
- ask for or make payments outside PalopGO for something you found on PalopGO where the app offers a payment (card markets), or ask anyone for money, a document, a passport or a "fee" to join anything;
- post or send anything illegal, sexual, violent, hateful, defamatory or misleading, spam, or other people's private information. There is zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits children: it is removed, the account is closed and it is reported to the authorities;
- copy, scrape or harvest PalopGO or its data, or use bots, scripts or automated tools to use it (search engines may index our public pages);
- probe, scan or test PalopGO's security, get around any limit, check or access control, use another person's account or token, or interfere with or overload the service (section 26 explains how to report a security problem properly);
- copy, change, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use PalopGO to launder money, finance terrorism, avoid sanctions or evade tax.
18. Things that can never be offered on PalopGO
Nobody may sell, carry, list, advertise or ask for any of the following through PalopGO, in any market, whatever the local law allows:
- weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, and parts or plans for them;
- illegal drugs, psychoactive substances, drug equipment, and prescription medicines;
- stolen, counterfeit or pirated goods, and goods that infringe someone's rights;
- hazardous goods: gas, fuel, chemicals, and anything that is dangerous to carry;
- live animals, and endangered species or products made from them;
- human remains, organs, blood, and services of a sexual nature;
- tobacco, vapes and alcohol, except from a store licensed to sell them where the law allows, and never through Já que vais;
- cash, bank cards, gift cards (other than PalopGO's own gifts), cryptocurrency, money transfers and currency exchange between people, offers of investments, securities, loans or credit (Sócios da Terra introductions follow section 15), lottery and gambling;
- the sale of official or identity documents, and anything that helps someone get around border, immigration, customs or tax rules;
- recalled or unsafe products, and food from anyone who is not allowed to sell it;
- anything else that is illegal in the market concerned, or that our payment provider forbids.
We may remove a listing, cancel an order and suspend an account that breaks this section, and we report to the authorities where the law requires it.
19. What you post
Reviews, photos, messages, greetings, profiles, listings and anything else you add to PalopGO are "your content".
- You keep ownership of your content. You give PalopGO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, adapt (for example resize or translate), display and share it, to run, show and promote PalopGO, for as long as it is on PalopGO and for a reasonable time after it is removed (for example in backups, and in records we must keep).
- You confirm your content is true, is yours or you have permission to use it, and breaks no law and no one's rights. A photo must be your own (section 12).
- Reviews must be genuine. Only a customer whose order from a store reached them can review that store. Write about your own experience only. Do not write a review in exchange for anything, or about a business you own, work for or compete with. Businesses must never offer anything for a review or ask for only good ones. We do not change what a review says; we may remove one that breaks these terms or the law, and we publish reviews whether they are good or bad.
- In-app messages are screened by automated checks for contact details, requests for money, and other signs of scams or danger, so that we can keep people safe (sections 10, 15 and 20).
20. How we moderate content, and how to report it
- Our rule. There is no place on PalopGO for offensive or objectionable content, or for people who abuse others. Section 17 says what that means.
- Reporting. You can report a store, a listing, a review, a message, a person or anything you think is illegal or breaks these terms with the report option in the app, or by email to bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com. Tell us where it is (a link or the screen), why you think it is illegal or breaks these terms, and, unless the report is about child sexual abuse, your name and email. We will confirm we received it and tell you what we decided. The person you report is never told who reported them. A person on our team reads every report, and we aim to act within 24 hours.
- Blocking. You can block the person who wrote a review, a question, a greeting or a post, or who lists a home, from the place where you read it. You stop seeing what they write and the homes they list, on all your devices, and we stop proposing you to each other in Conterrâneos, Padrinhos and Sócios da Terra. We never tell them. A block does not touch a stay you have already booked with a host: your stay, its messages and your way to get help all stay open, and these terms still apply to it. A store cannot be blocked, but it can be reported. You can undo a block at any time in your account, under Settings, Blocked people.
- What we check and how. We use automated checks (pattern checks and AI tools) to find contact details, scams, copied photos, dangerous content and false registrations. Some checks act at once, for example refusing a message that carries a phone number or a link. Decisions to remove a listing or a review, or to suspend or close an account, for breaking these rules are taken by a person on our team. A store that does not answer its orders may be paused automatically for a time; that is not a penalty and lifts by itself.
- What we can do. Depending on how serious it is: remove or hide content, lower a listing or a seal, limit features, hold money while we check, suspend or close an account, and report to the authorities. We act faster and more strictly where someone's safety is at risk.
- Reasons and complaints. When we restrict your content or your account, we tell you what we did, why, and which rule or law it was under, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it. You can complain about the decision, or about a decision not to act on your report, within 6 months, by replying in the app or by email. A person on our team reviews it, and we tell you the outcome.
- If you are in the European Union, you may also take a dispute about our decision to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, and you can always go to court.
- Repeated misuse. We suspend, for a reasonable time and after a warning, accounts that often post clearly illegal content, and people who often send reports that are clearly unfounded.
- Authorities. We follow lawful orders from courts and authorities, and we tell the police when we learn of a threat to someone's life or safety.
21. Identity checks, fraud, sanctions and money laundering
- We use checks, including our providers' (Stripe for identity and payments, Twilio for sign-in codes), to prevent fraud and keep PalopGO safe. Identity checks are done by Stripe; PalopGO never sees your document or your selfie (section 12).
- We may ask you for information, delay, hold, refuse or reverse a payment or a payout, cancel an order, or pause an account, when we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, a sanctions breach, an unauthorised payment or a breach of these terms, or when the law or our payment provider requires it. The law may not allow us to tell you why.
- Sanctions. You confirm that you are not, and are not owned or controlled by or acting for, a person named on a sanctions list of the United Nations, the United Kingdom, the European Union or the United States, and that you will not use PalopGO for such a person or for a country or region under comprehensive sanctions. We may refuse or close accounts to comply with sanctions.
- We keep records and report suspicious activity to the authorities where the law requires it.
22. Suspending or closing an account
- You can close your account at any time in the app or on the website (/delete-account). Orders, bookings or requests already under way are completed or cancelled under their own rules, and money you are owed is still paid.
- We may suspend or close an account, or limit what it can do, if it breaks these terms or the law, if we must do so by law, if it puts other people or PalopGO at risk, or if it has not been used for 24 months. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to put things right. Section 20 explains how we tell you why and how you can complain. Section 35 adds the notice we give business users.
- If an account is closed for a serious breach (for example fraud), money it would otherwise be owed may be held while we deal with the consequences, as the law allows.
23. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence: for example drafting a store's menu from a photo, screening messages, reviews and registrations, and translating. We tell you where AI is used.
- AI can be wrong. A store must check, and is responsible for, every item, price, ingredient and allergen it publishes, including any that AI drafted.
- Never rely on AI output for allergens, medical, legal or safety decisions: ask the provider.
24. Other people's services
PalopGO works with other services, such as Stripe (payments and identity checks), Twilio (sign-in codes), the app stores, maps and transport planners. Their own terms apply to what they provide, and they are responsible for it. Links to other websites are for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for them.
25. Our name, our app, and your licence to use it
PalopGO, its name, logo, design, text, artwork, software and data belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, which we can withdraw, to use the app and the website for their intended purpose under these terms. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without paying you.
26. Security and reporting vulnerabilities
We work to keep PalopGO and your data secure, but no system can be completely secure. Keep your phone, your app and your sign-in code safe.
If you find a security problem, email bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com with "Security" in the subject. Do not access, change or delete other people's data beyond what you need to show the problem, do not disrupt the service, do not use social engineering, phishing or physical attacks, and give us reasonable time to fix it before you tell anyone else. If you follow these rules in good faith, we will not take legal action against you for your research. Testing PalopGO in any other way is not allowed (section 17).
27. Availability and changes to PalopGO
We work to keep PalopGO available and orders on time, but delivery times are estimates. PalopGO may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance or because of a fault. We may change, add, pause or remove features, markets, payment methods and services. Some features are turned on market by market and may not be available where you are. If a change means you lose something you have paid for, we will refund it.
Part D: If you sell, work or provide services through PalopGO
28. Who this part covers
This part applies to you if you sell goods, deliver, carry Já que vais items, drive Boleia rides, host stays, organise events, guide, clean, move, cook, ship, provide any other service, or list a business on PalopGO (a "provider"). It applies whether you act as a business or as an individual, alongside Parts A, B, C and E and any additional terms we agree with you in writing. If they conflict, the additional terms apply.
29. You are independent
- You act on your own account, as an independent business or person, not as an employee, worker, agent, partner or representative of PalopGO.
- You decide whether, when and where to work and which offers to accept, and you can refuse any offer. You may work through other platforms, including our competitors.
- You provide and pay for your own equipment, vehicle, phone, data and anything else you need, and you are responsible for your own taxes and social security contributions.
30. Your legal duties
You are responsible for following every law that applies to what you offer and how you work, including, where they apply:
- the registrations, licences and permits your business needs (for example food business registration, alcohol and late-night licences, short-let registration, event and venue licences, guiding or transport licences), and keeping them valid;
- food hygiene and safety, and accurate allergen and ingredient information;
- product safety and labelling, and the information the law requires you to give buyers;
- consumer law: true descriptions and prices, the buyer's rights to cancel and to a refund, and honouring your own promotions;
- age checks for age-restricted items and events (section 5);
- for couriers, Já que vais deliverers and Boleia drivers: a valid driving licence and insurance that covers carrying goods for payment where you use a motor vehicle, a roadworthy vehicle, and the rules of the road;
- your right to work in the country where you work. We may ask you to prove it;
- data protection: using customers' information only to fulfil their order (section 34);
- tax: registering, charging and paying the taxes on what you earn and sell, including VAT where it applies.
We may ask you to show that you comply. We may pause your listing or account until you do.
31. Information we must collect, check and report
The law requires online marketplaces to know who their sellers are and, in many countries, to report what sellers earn to the tax authorities (for example under the United Kingdom's and the European Union's digital platform reporting rules). You agree to give us, keep up to date, and let us check and share with the authorities where the law requires: your full name or business name, address, date of birth, tax identification number, VAT number, company registration, bank account details and identity document. We may hold your payouts, or pause your account, until you do. You confirm the information is true and complete.
32. Fees, payouts, chargebacks and set-off
- Our fees are those shown to you in the app or agreed with you in writing, before you accept them. They may include taxes.
- We pay you what you are owed, less our fees and any amounts you owe us, on the schedule shown in the app. We may hold a payout while an order is still open to a report, an event has not yet taken place, a stay has not begun, or while we investigate fraud, a dispute or a breach of these terms.
- If a customer is refunded because of something you are responsible for (for example a missing, wrong, unsafe or misdescribed item, a cancelled event or a stay that was not as described), the refund comes out of what you are owed, as the policy of that service says.
- You are responsible for chargebacks, fines and costs that are caused by your goods, your services or your breach of these terms. We may set off any amount you owe us against amounts we owe you.
- The payment fee of an order you turn down. Some ways of paying take the customer's money as soon as they pay, before you accept (for example iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS, BLIK, Pix and MB WAY). If you reject such an order or do not answer it in time, the customer is refunded in full and the payment provider keeps its processing fee. Where the app shows that this applies to an order, that fee is yours to pay: the exact amount is shown on the order before you answer, it is the provider's real fee with nothing added, and once charged it appears as its own line in your Conta PalopGO and we tell you. Orders you accept, orders the customer cancels and card payments that are only held cost you nothing.
- Cash you collect for PalopGO orders must be handed over or accounted for as the app shows.
33. How listings are ranked
The order in which stores and listings appear mainly depends on: whether the provider can serve you now (opening hours, delivery area, availability); distance; what you searched for; the provider's Selo de Confiança and proof (section 12); and its ratings and record. "Destaques" are paid placements and are always marked as sponsored. Payment does not change a provider's seal, its ratings or its reviews.
34. The data you receive
You receive the information you need to fulfil an order, a booking or a request, such as a first name, what was ordered and, only while it is needed, an address or a meeting point. You may use it only to fulfil that order; you must keep it secure, must not copy it into other systems or use it for marketing (unless the customer separately agreed with you), and must delete it when you no longer need it. We see the data of orders placed with you, as our privacy policy explains. You can ask us what data about your business we keep and share.
35. Restriction, suspension and termination for providers
- We may restrict, suspend or end your use of PalopGO for the reasons in section 22. Before we end a provider's account entirely, we give at least 30 days' notice, unless the law requires us to act sooner, you have repeatedly broken these terms, or there is a risk of harm, fraud or a serious breach, in which case we may act at once.
- We tell you why, which rule or law we relied on, and how you can complain or put things right.
- You can complain about any decision that affects your business by email to bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com. We review it and tell you the result. Where it helps, we may propose mediation; that does not take away your right to go to court.
- We give providers at least 15 days' notice of changes to these terms that affect them, unless the law requires a faster change. You may close your account before the change takes effect.
36. Your responsibility for claims against PalopGO
You will compensate PalopGO, and its directors and staff, for any loss, liability, fine, penalty, claim or reasonable cost (including legal fees) that arises from: your goods, services, events, listings, stays or trips; your content; your breach of these terms or of the law; your taxes; or the acts of your staff and helpers. We will tell you promptly about any claim and let you take part in defending it.
Part E: Responsibility, disputes and the law
37. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under UK law, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
- If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you placed the order.
- The provider, not PalopGO, is responsible for its goods and services, their quality and safety, and what happens at an event, in a home, on a trip, at a meeting or in a business you start with someone you met on PalopGO. Your claims about them should be made against the provider, and we will help you contact them.
- If you use PalopGO as a consumer, we are not responsible for loss of business, profit or opportunity.
38. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our control (section 40), by your breach of these terms, by another user's or a provider's acts or omissions, by third-party services (section 24), or by your device, connection or failure to keep your code safe;
- we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, revenue, business, goodwill or opportunity;
- our total responsibility to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with PalopGO in any 12 months is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid through PalopGO for the order, booking or ticket the claim is about, together with any fees you paid to PalopGO in those 12 months, and (b) £100 (or the equivalent in your currency). If you are a provider, it is limited to the fees you paid to PalopGO in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including the liability in section 37's first paragraph and your rights as a consumer.
39. Your responsibility to us
If you break these terms on purpose or carelessly, for example by fraud, a false chargeback, a false report, misuse of the app or damage to a provider, you are responsible for the reasonable losses that causes us and others, as the law allows. Providers are also responsible under section 36.
40. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government action, power, internet or telecom failures, or failures of payment networks and other providers. We will tell you, try to limit the effect, and refund what you paid for anything that cannot then be provided.
41. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and significant changes will be shown in the app. Changes that affect you significantly come into effect at least 15 days after we tell you, unless the law, safety or fraud prevention requires them sooner. Using PalopGO after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not accept them, you can close your account before they apply. Orders already placed follow the terms in force when you placed them.
42. Complaints
If you are unhappy, tell us in the app or at bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com and give us the chance to put it right. We aim to answer within 14 days. If we cannot agree, the rest of Part E explains where you can go.
43. The law that applies and where to bring a claim
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except as follows:
- If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring a claim there.
- If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, nothing in these terms takes away a right those laws give you.
- If you are a provider, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise.
44. If you live in the United States
Please read this section carefully: it affects your rights.
- Arbitration. You and PalopGO agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these terms or PalopGO will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either of us may ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Before starting arbitration, the person bringing the claim must send a written description of it to the other and try for 60 days to resolve it informally.
- No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. You and PalopGO each give up the right to a jury trial. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided by a court, not in arbitration.
- Opting out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing bridge@bridge-digital-solution.com with your name, phone number and the words "arbitration opt-out".
- Disclaimer. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PALOPGO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Some states do not allow these exclusions or the limits in section 38, so they may not apply to you, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state.
45. If you live in another country
Where the law of the country where you live gives you a right that cannot be excluded or limited by contract, nothing in these terms excludes or limits it. In particular:
- Australia: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Canada: if you are a consumer in Ontario or Québec, section 44's arbitration and class-action terms do not apply to you, and you keep the rights your province's consumer protection law gives you.
- South Africa: nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
- Angola, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe, Namibia, Senegal and every other market: the mandatory consumer and data protection laws of your country apply alongside these terms.
46. App stores
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play: these terms are between you and PalopGO, not Apple or Google, and PalopGO, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its support and any claim about it (including product liability, legal compliance and intellectual property claims). Apple and Google have no obligation to maintain or support the app. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, which may refund the app's price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm that you are not in a country under a United States government embargo and are not on a United States list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the app store's own terms.
47. General
- These terms, and the policies they mention, are the whole agreement between you and us about PalopGO.
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms to another company, for example if PalopGO is sold, without reducing your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.
- Nobody other than you and us (and Apple, under section 46) has any right to enforce these terms.
- Sections that by their nature should continue after an account is closed (for example sections 19, 25, 32, 36 to 40 and 43 to 45) continue.
- These terms are written in English. Where we give you a translation and the law of your country requires the terms in its language, that version has the same force; otherwise the English version applies if they differ.
- We send messages about your orders and your account by app notification, SMS, WhatsApp or email. Agreements, notices and records may be made and kept electronically.
